The production of oil palm is made in a single area in Laurel of Corredores that includes close to 289 hectares. The totality of the production is given to COOPEAGROPAL R.L, cooperative of which COOPETRABASUR is associated.

Of the total of associates of COOPETRABASUR, a 5% are hired directly for the activity of the palm; what leaves on relief the importance of the production and export of fresh banana, which is the main activity of the cooperative.

Labors such as harvesting and maintenance of the plantation are subcontracted to COOPESERSUR R.L. because of the little activity involved.
